I was a shoe in. And in regards to statistics I was well above the average acceptance averages of last year. And I was most likely declined due to all the TAG applicants. Hence me stating it definitely challenges the INTEGRITY of the system.

I got accepted into 3 UC’s for fall of 2011 as a science major and only had a 3.1 GPA without using TAG. So im sure next year with a higher GPA you can still get into SD

@ reptar

Didn’t you recently ask to be chanced at a bunch of schools including UCSB, UCSD etc? If you already got in somewhere, why aren’t you going? And in that post you said you had a 3.4?

Not trying to call you out, just curious.

No worries i had a 3.16 after Fall of 2010 i raised it now (i was an ecology major). And i got in but i dropped classes and didnt meet the minimum requirements of 60 units for transfering as a junior into a UC. Plus it would be cheaper for me to do my undergrad classes at a CC versus doing three years at a UC. I really dont want to go to a UC next year, im really looking into private schools. That was my main reason for starting that, i really want to go to USC or AU.

Forgot to add im planning to have a 3.4 GPA at the lowest

Apply for some backups.
CSU’s too .
CSUN has some great teachers and is pretty easy to get into .
3.5 is too high for a TAG, but supply demand ya kno
