Do UCs look at first semester grades? is it sometimes or always? thanks
Are you asking if the they ask for Mid-year Senior grades? No, but you do have to maintain a 3.0 unweighted GPA with no more than 2 C’s Senior year for UCLA and UCB. For the rest of the UC’s, it is a 3.0 weighted GPA that needs to be maintained to keep your provisional admission.
No D’s or F’s is the general rule.
If you are borderline, the upper tier UC’s might ask for supplemental information which would include grades in the senior fall semester and additional questions.
