Uc gpa

Hey so I'm a Junior in high school, and UC's have been coming to my school lately talking about themselves. They said that we have to fulfill the gpa requirement to get accepted. So does that mean that they will only look at my gpa from 10-11th grade? And I have some D's that I have to make up in summer school will UC's disregard the previous grade? Can someone please calculate my UC GPA because I have no idea how to do this. I have 6 classes per semester. Thanks!

10th grade:
1. AP World History: B/A
2. Algebra II: A/B
3. P.E: B/B
4. Spanish: B/B
5. Chemistry: D/D
6. English: B/B

11th grade:(1st semester, currently in 2nd)
1. Trigonometry: D
2. Art: B
3. AP Spanish: A
4. Physics: C
5. AP U.S History: B
6 English: B

Request a transcript (unofficial) from your high school counselor. The transcript should have your overall GPA calculated. If your high school still ranks, your class rank as of the last grading period will be listed as well. Those two pieces of information, along with an ACT/SAT score can help you determine at which universities/colleges you would be a viable candidate. From your grades, it looks like you are not a math/science person and those Ds will have pulled down your GPA. Just remember there is a university/college for everyone.

Well freshman grades aren’t looked at for UC’s since they understand it’s a transitionary period but you do still report them. If you actually make up the grade then the new one is all you report as well. I would advise you to retake them as it’s pretty competitive to get in, good luck!
