<p>Do UC’c include D’s and F’s while calculating one’s gpa? I repeated a D and F in Alg 2 during my junior year and obtained a B and an A the second time around, so my question is: Are they going to calculate the original grade along with the repeated grade?</p>

**D and F grades: **</p>

<p>If you repeat a course in which you earned a D or F in an “a-g” course, the original grade will not be included in the GPA calculation, and the new grade will be used. If you repeat a course in which you initially earned a grade of C, the second grade will not be used.
