UC Intercampus Roll Call

Right. Thanks alot dude. Great help. I guess I'm just going to wait and apply and we'll see what happens. Appreciate your help again.

RS20, I'm confused. What do you mean by TAG agreement?
TAG does not exist for UC to UC transfers.

Oh, I don't go to a UC. I am a transfer student from a Community College. Sorry I jumped into the UC to UC thread, I had questions that I despretly needed answers to.

Hi All,

I'm planning on doing an intercampus UC and I had some questions. I'm planning on transferring to UCLA or UCB. I was wondering whether I just had to fulfill GE requirements and have 60 credits to be able to admitted at those UC's? If I need to meet other requirements like many are saying, where can I find the requirements for a human bio major at LA and B?(I couldn't find any information on there websites) And lastly, how important are EC's when transferring to another UC?

jerome1m,

try to call the departments at the colleges, or even emailing. they've got to have some information on classes at that college.

EC's i think are important. i dont know though, because i transferred the year after i graduated high school, so a lot of the EC's i put were from high school, and i only had one or two new EC's from college.

the section on the transfer application for EC's has those checkmarks of when you did them during high school like the freshman app, and also includes a box for years after high school, so i just put all the ones from high school that i put on my frosh app from the year before.

Thanks for your help Orion. I found what I was looking for. If anyone was wondering what prereq they need for their major go to UCLA Undergrad Admissions: Profile of Admitted Transfer Students by Major, Fall 2007
and click on your major that should bring up the prereq page

sorry for the bump but I am crossing my fingers that someone from UCSD will write about a successful transfer to Cal or UCLA

thanks.

I have a friend who transferred last year from UCSD to UCLA. 3.5 GPA and good essay did the trick.

Hi, this is my first post.
I was wondering if they factor in your current UC GPA only for intercampus transfers and not any grades earned in community college courses taken transfered to your current UC campus? Would they average my CC gpa with my UC gpa?

Also, I was wondering what are my chances for UCLA's Asian American Studies major with a 3.62 GPA at UCR with half preqs completed but not really any extra circulars except being a volunteer firefighter on call.

Hi yeah I too was wondering if it was possible to transfer from UCSD to Cal even if i'm not done with my UC Reciprocity Agreement. I calculated that I'll be one class short of finishing it, but I'll be done with all my major pre reqs (econ major).

^what college are you in?

Keep in mind that you only have to finish lower division GE Reqs.

Sorry for the late reply, im in Muir college.
