@dawlphin Not necessarily, I got accepted to UCD, UCSB and UCSD for my first choice major and have not heard back from UCI. Those who have heard back, for the most part, were either admitted to the honors program or got Regents/similar scholarships. Have hope 
@Yvask95 Sorry for the late reply. Anyway, your IGCSE’s are not bad at all, 3A’s and 2A’s is great. Your B is fine, but I would have omitted the ICT if I were you. I took ICT as well lmao, I know exactly what you’re talking about! I did insanely well in the theory and did a bit worse on the practical but managed an A. You shouldn’t worry though because UC Irvine only requires a minimum of 5 IGCSE exams, and you’ve exceled in 5 and done even more than that. Your A-Level grades are bittersweet to be honest. Your A’s in Math and Pure math are definitely impressive, but your Physics grade sorta takes away the shine. I can’t blame you though, A-Level Physics was insanely difficult for me and even after killing myself I only managed a B. People at UCI know these exams and their difficulty very well so don’t stress. I wouldn’t say your chances aren’t as low as 30% but rather something near 50%. Good luck!
@Xavier97 If I’m gonna be honest, the Physics exams were hard. But God damn did I study. I understood it all. I even went to a tutor for even more help, because I kept hearing Physics A levels are no joke. After the exam I spoke to my tutor. He told me I got the hardest question right, which apparently, counting me, only three out of like 30 of his students got right. He said that I’ll most definitely lose marks though as I do not write the way EDEXCEL has specified to write for science subjects. I don’t really know how to explain that last part, but if you saw the way I answer questions, you’d understand. But I know for a fact, I was supposed to get a B. I know some kid in my country, who “supposedly” got 300/300 in his As, even though he skipped a ton of marks. The whole EDEXCEL system is complete non-sense. But thats all in the past now -____-
I just wish they wouldn’t screw around with the students futures.

Last year, decisions came out on the same day as Davis. This year, San Diego and Davis came out on the same day. I read on a couple of places (keeping my eyes pasted on threads here and searching ‘UCI’ on Twitter) that a lot of people are predicting decisions to start coming out on Monday, the same day as Santa Barbara. I’m taking it with a grain of salt, but I really hope they do release them then.
Saying that I “constantly” check my portal is an understatement. More like… “If the portal was my boyfriend, he would break up with me because I’m hella clingy.”
Just bawled my eyes out because I’m reevaluating my life’s worth while waiting on UCI.
