How do internationals hear back?
Are admissions supposed to come out this Friday?
@keepswimmin21 Based on last year’s timing they’d come out on Friday. Davis and Irvine appeared to come out 5pm Friday the 14th. last year. But there’s nothing official that’s stated that this is to be the case this year. Good luck!

Irvine – decisions for scholarship recipients went out February 12, 2015; the rest of the decisions should come out at MyAdmission and Message Center in early March
UCLA – all decisions should become available at Admission Decisions in late March
Merced – decisions should come out in batches at MyUCMerced starting around mid-March
Riverside – decisions for scholarship recipients went out January 9, 2015; the rest of the decisions are coming out in batches at MyUCR through the rest of March (confirmed)
San Diego – all decisions should become available at MyApplication around mid-March
Santa Barbara – all decisions will become available at application status on March 16, 2015 at 3:00 PM PST (confirmed)
Santa Cruz – decisions should come out in batches at MyUCSC starting March 15, 2015 (confirmed)
You will receive an email from the campus notifying you that your admission status has changed when the decision becomes available (occasionally there is a 1-2 day delay between when the decision becomes available and when the email goes out). You must log into the online system in order to check your admission decision
So the descisions can already be out? Im waiting until the 15th to check
@imjennah: If the rest of the decisions were out, you would see much more activity on this thread. You will recieve an email to check the portal for your decision.
Knowing now that there is a delay on the emails by 1-2 does that mean that it is possible for acceptances to start tomorrow and then notifications go out Friday? also how does UCI release decisions, is it based on major?

Keep a close eye on your portals. Last year I received an acceptance notice on my portal a day or so before I received the email.

@monarch1 Do you know the admit rates for internationals?
As stated in that link, It’s 41% for International.
UC Irvine puts a higher emphasis on GPA than other UCs.
So when do y’all expect Irvine to release decisions? Tomorrow? Friday? Next week?

@sbjdorlo @wlbd15 I include all of the numbers http://admitguide.com/ to be clear. You have to see all numbers including SIR to understand it’s still great to be a resident! UCI offered 17,396 spots to Cali students last year. There just are not as many OOS & INTNL applicants so the admit rate is higher. Good luck to you all!
@spiderwoman I expect admissions to go out any day now…by the 17th im pretty sure people woukd have heard something
It’s been already a week that I keep checking this thread and MyUCI, and still no response. UCI is my dream school, and this waiting is driving me crazy #:-S
