after seeing what certain people had to offer in their applications, it looks like you could get away with a low SAT score if you had a high GPA (3.9+) and some extracurriculars
Or so I say is the recurring trend here idk

Anybody accepted for Chemistry?

Dude like I put Biological Science as my alternate but I havent got a decision yet for either Chem or Bio

So far it seems that the first batch rolled out are for in-state students.

Accepted for Computer Engineering.

SAT II Physics: 660
ACT: 27
UW GPA: 3.77, W GPA: 4.57
Gonna be graduating with 8 AP classes while the rest are Honors classes.
Decent amount of extracurriculars and community service.
Super strong essays…surmising that my essays helped A LOT.
Low-income…~$20k

Also got accepted to UCSD, UCD, and UCSB.

Does anyone know the order they’re accepting people in? Is it just random?

Is it just me or do barely any people choose Ecology and Evolutionary Biology as a major? I have been on this thread for HOURS now continuously refreshing and I have seen NOBODY say anything about this major. It is the strangest thing to me…

Can we get a roll call for the people who havent gotten any decision, especially what your major it

I was accepted for chemistry around 5:30 pm. I’m in-state, only about 15 minutes away from UCI but a lot of my friends from the area haven’t heard anything yet. SAT score 1950, ACT 31, UC gpa 4.1, and pretty average ECs and essays so don’t lose hope.

I have not gotten a decision yet, my major is Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and my alternate major is Biological Sciences.

No decision here for comp sci

I cri 2nite

I’ve gotten into UCSD, UCSB, and UC Davis so 3/3 on UCs so far, hopefully Irvine isn’t a rejection

No decision here. Software Engineering. Alt: Spanish.

@ucladeb It is very obvious if you got in. In a big banner at the top of the my application page— in Blue and Gold it says You have been Accepted to UC Irvine! Can’t miss it.

@EezaWeeza‌ , I actually applied to Ecology and Evolutionary Bio as my alrernate major and Biological Sciences as my preferred major. But, I haven’t got a decision yet. :-/
