Ok thank you for letting me know! It’s just so odd to me how I have barely seen this major pop up in any of the posts. And ughhhh this is killing me why can’t they release decisions in a more orderly fashion :((
im so scared because all my friends who put biological sciences got their acceptances already while i didnt get anything… psychology was my alternate and a ton of people already got in for that too 
im getting really nervous because i heard the last batch are rejections…

dont give up. I was in the same situation as the rest of you all, and I ended up getting in! i got rejected from ucsd, ucd, santa clara university, and cal poly slo. i got into irvine at 6:00pm with a 1490 sat score, 4.13 GPA, good ec’s, good essays, and top 9%. i applied as undelcared in engineering. DONT GIVE UP

Is a weighted gpa of 3.75 and good gpa to get into uc irvine?
I want to be in biological sciences but i am thinking of applying to another major then switiching if i get into UCI. I’m scared man 
Awaiting decision: Biomedical Engineering (I’ve seen about 3 acceptances to BME so far; hope there’ll be more…)
@EezaWeeza , I’m actually not surprised because I remember reading some stats for a UC (not sure which one), and Ecology and Evolutionary Bio was one of the least applied to majors.

I feel like I shouldn’t have switched my major from MechE to Physical Science I think I could’ve had a chance with MechE
@fizzman Perhaps that could be the reason as to why this is taking so long for the decision if major has anything to do with it…
