I’m unclear on this grant. My financial aid package says the following for gift aid:

Federal Pell Grant - 5775.00
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant - 250.00
UC Irvine Grant - 8627.00

What is the UC Irvine grant for? Is it strictly for college expenses, or is it like the pell grant, where I keep the unspent funds? Is there somewhere I can read up on this?

Just have zot take it out to pay for your dorms? I have it taken out for housing so I use the full amount each quarter, not sure if you keep unused funds sorry :confused:
