UC Martial Arts Program

Does anyone have any feedback about the UC Martial Arts program, specifically their Wushu group? I would like to join, but some input first would be nice. :D

And besides the UC program, do any of you know of dojos near campus? I have been studying Aikido and it would be nice to find another dojo to go to, but I am open to other martial arts.

I know the YWCA is having Aikido classes during the summer (maybe in the fall too?). From your experience, are YWCA classes generally well taught (in general)?

I've heard good things about the martials arts taught through the RSF. The YWCA classes look interesting, but I haven't taken one yet.

You can either take a PE class for 0.5 credits if you are a beginning student. There are many types of martial arts offered. As for the program, if you go to the RSF they should have some sort of advertising as for when signups are due. I believe there's a fee, and you need health insurance that covers major injuries (bone breaks, etc.)... I've been to a few of the Tae Kwon Do tournaments, and they're very fun for martial arts lovers. The Wushu team looks awesome in uniforms... they're also very good. I'd recommend the experience.
