Does anyone want to read and critique one of my essays?

…Weren’t these due months ago? Or are you talking about Fall 2013 applications? Or just for the fun of things?

I, for one, am a full advocate of working on your personal statement essays ahead of time. However, I am probably not someone you want proofreading it.

I was thinking about making a thread like this where we can chance each other based on our PS.

lol, extremely early for 2013 ahhahah.

I’m pretty sure hes referring to the essays we turned in, just wants to calm his nerves and get a good feel from his peers regarding how well written his essay is.

^ In that case, sounds like a waste of time. There’s nothing we can say that will change the actual decisions, come April.

@bearterritory3: I’ll have a look at it if you’d like. I’ve got a little free time (taking the semester off from my graduate program during my wife’s pregnancy) and wouldn’t mind giving some input.

@briceies - I agree. At this point, might as well wait the month or two until decisions come out.

Don’t circulate your PS online. I received 7-9 emails from different students in November and December about concerns that their PS was plagiarized. Believe me, you don’t need the stress.
