hi im a senior in high school right now and i heard that UC Riverside has a medical program where it takes 6 years to get a an medical degree. and i heard that you skip the general ed requirements but the catch is that you must attend riverside the whole time. does anyone know anything about that? im not talking about the one that has to do with UCR and UCLA. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

google is your friend.

UCRMed is not scheduled to open until Fall 2012. Yes, it will accept 24 students each year who are current undergrads, bypassing a couple of years. But, that program may supplant the current program with UCLA. (I just skimmed the docs…)

for ucr the program is
2 years at UCR then off you go to UCLA med school
its really rigorous [oor so ive heard]
but you need to add in the fact that UCR has crappo teachers.

so ucr has this program currently or no?
and i thought the ucr, ucla program was discontinued?
