UC Riverside Transfer Fall 2016

Wait, so… the people who were in this thread that got admissions were just lucky or something if decisions come out March 15th for transfers? (Not to discount y’all’s admissions. I’m just confused, lmao.)

I think that’s just the next batch. You Guyswere the first

@Countchocula25 I think you have it right. I think starting from the 15th, a lot more people will get in.

@Countchocula25 But weren’t people getting in after March 1 also? Like on March 4? I wonder if anyone has been accepted today.

I think those weirdos just checked on those days. They weren’t even involved with the thread until they got accepted then they come on and tell everyone about it lol

I think I’m gonna call admissions and ask about the 15th, because when I called b4 they kept saying to check it every few hours each day as if it’s rolling admissions, but who knows.

Yeah please do. I was going to call but I don’t like talking to people on the phone. That’s so obnoxious. As if it weren’t bad enough that it’s our last semester and we need to be worrying about finishing so we can transfer. NOT stressing about decisions

Relax fellas. Last year my friend got accepted mid May.

Only rejects or wait listed people get decisions in May. You calling us rejects hmm? X(

I’m not from the riverside area I live all the way in the valley. Is it really as bad as people on other threads are commenting? I’ve been wanting to go on a tour now since I’m accepted but that probably won’t happen so I have to go off of what people in the area say.

Depends on what part of the valley you are from so I can make a comparison. It’s like panorama city

I’m from san fernando so not a fancy area

Personally I’d say San Fernando is a bit better. My comparison is like I said panorama or van nuys. If you are familiar with those neighborhoods

Yeah I grew up in panorama city. I mean as long as the campus isn’t horrible I can deal with it. Have you been to the campus is it nice?

@stephonic I actually really like the campus. It’s clean, has a good mix of new and old buildings, it’s a lot better than it used to be. I did a tour in 2011 when u was in high school andi remember it being dirty and kind of a dump.

The campus is beautiful imo. It’s what you’d expect from a UC. It does have a bit of a desert feel to it. All I can say is don’t take night classes and keep a weapon in your house. You’ll be safe

Has anyone visited the off campus apartments?

Do you mean the apartments the school owns or the ones that are actually in the city of riverside

I never said that vato. @Countchocula25

I meant the apartments owned by UCR, like Bannockburn Village or Glen Mor.
