also, growl doesn’t give me the option to see my financial aid application status for 2016-2017 either
@TwistedMetal246 @poochindapooch i got accepted on the 1st (SIR’d the same day) and my GROWL still says the same thing too so… idk what’s going on. I heard people are already getting their packages too so I emailed the financial aid department on friday, hopefully something works out.
@mysskye congratulations! Hearing of so many acceptances on here is the only thing keeping me sane and getting me through the anxiety of waiting for decisions…

Hey guys, registration is up for highlander transfer orientation! The website is glitchy, so no lie, got to the sign up page through luck and a quick click. I’ve already sir’d, so excited to meet more people going to UCR this year!

Also for the people who have been accepted, did you guys get your admission packet in the mail yet?
@poochindapooch I didn’t bother reporting back because it was a typical answer. The person told me to keep checking because it’s a rolling admissions blah blah.
@stephonic It doesn’t cost anything up front. they add it to your fall statement to be paid.l

And I thought there was a $100 fee upfront to SIR? That’s what I had at least. Probably depends on income I guess
@Intuitiveoblgtns did you pay the fee? I noticed it said that Visa cards weren’t accepted. Do you know what is?
@Intuitiveoblgtns I didn’t have to pay anything up front, they just added it to what I need to pay for fall 2016. The same thing happened for my transfer orientation fee.

I got accepted on the 1st too, and I still can’t see my financial aid package. I don’t know what’s going on.
That’s what I heard that you have to pay upfront. But if it gets charged later that’s even better more time to save up in case I do end up going to riverside
@futureeechick yeah i paid. Any other card (mastercard, american express, etc) will work
@umberial that’s interesting, maybe i misread or something. Although my transfer orientation fee was added to the fall 2016 tuition too.
