[/ul]General Comments/Additional Information:[list] Very happy that my first major decision was an acceptance! Go Tritons!

I was accepted to Eleanor Roosevelt College. My plans have totally changed since I applied so I’ll be switching my major to Political Science (Public Policy) or a Sociology major.

In hindsight: this really is holistic. Focus on doing the best you can in everything you do and showing your passion. I think I got in because of my numbers, but also because I let my passions and story show in my overall application. Best of luck!

Congrats to everyone that got in! I’m as excited as all of you? But just out of curiosity, does anyone know of anyone that actually got rejected/waitlisted? Because all of my friends and classmates got in, even some that I didn’t expect, though I could have been just seriously underestimating them, as I do. Just curious

[ *] How were your personal statements? Rate out of 10, including the additional comments section: Definitely not my best and overall a bit cringy. I don’t believe I did a good job displaying me as a person, and it’s completely my fault for not spending more time on them. I wrote about how I developed an interest in international studies through my culturally diverse community and how my interest had conflicted with the less-than-diverse expectations and career paths that I was encouraged to pursue by those around me… Yeah, a bit mediocre and cliche. The second one was just not good (in my eyes).
