I did the same thing Jihwang did but for the 2014 students, and I’m seeing the same trend. no change = waitlist/rejection and change = acceptance. Again, grain of salt pls.

Hey guys, my housing message changed today as well , it maybe we get notified in the next few days or it may just b nothing either way I like that there is some activity going on 8-}

@friedchips Umm, I was prying into the previous year’s thread, but I did see a guy freak out about his “today” message changing back the original message within the day it was changed. If you’re curious, he was rejected.
EDIT: NVM he did not receive the “today” message in the first place
I wish they would just say the good/bad news today. I’m so tired of waiting.

The housing changed but the message isn’t really that positive though. I don’t think it’s going to come in today.

I would honestly take the housing thing with a grain of salt. DO NOT be discouraged if yours didn’t change. As of right now, it is all speculation and until UCSD notifies you of your admission status try not to think about it.

new housing message is “The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu.” thats not from me, thats copy-pasted
I’m assuming jigsaw in charge of the decision release process. What kind of sociopaths give out a quarter of decisions then let the majority squirm for a month?

Housing message changed but I don’t think it’s a sure thing at all since I’m missing prereqs and will be satisfying the English requirement this spring semester.
