UC San Diego or USC

Hey guys!

I have been accepted by UC San Diego and University of Southern California, and I have no clue which one I should go for cuz I seem to like them both judging from their websites and their pamphlets.

I plan to major in Biological sciences, and I definitely want to continue to graduate school. I don't really care whether the school is a party school or not. I am an international student, so tuition fee isn't that much a difference between the two, and also due to that location isn't really a problem for me.

Does being close to the beach matter? SD is closer to the ocean, and in a more beautiful environment (USC is surrounded by a kind of rough city area). USC has more school spirit, IMO. Both are excellent schools; you will get an equally good education at either.

I would go to whichever is cheaper; all things being equal I would choose UCSD based on your major.

^ agreed. San Diego is well known for bio and if both cost the same, go for it.

UCSD is better for bio
