USC vs UCSD

I was accepted to USC under Biology and UCSD under Marine Bio, and the costs are pretty similar with $8000 for UCSD and $10,000 for USC. I want to get a job relating to marine biology, but I don’t know if majoring in marine bio in UCSD and then going to their graduate program would be more helpful than majoring in Bio and then going to grad school for marine bio in USC. Also, I’ve heard that the Biology program at USC is super hard. However, USC seems to have a nicer campus and more opportunities to study abroad. All in all, I’m pretty conflicted. Please help!

I don’t know but UCSD is top notch in Marine Biology. I don’t know what you mean by bean helpful, is that regarding job or graduate school?

I’m guessing graduate school but I’m not totally sure

For graduate school In this field I would think you get better research at UCSD, I mean it’s technically right next to the beach. But please check the career survey from San Diego to see how graduates in the job market with this major.
