I know what you mean. There is no concept of "W GPA" at UCs. It's weighted GPA with a cap. This is known as "UC GPA." And yes, it applies to senior year, at all UCs.

F... I have a D right now... I swear i saw somewhere that UC 's don't require midyear transcript, but i guess they do....

KD, is the cap at 4 honors/AP classes then exclusively for senior yr? like it's not a remainder of the 4 weighted ones from soph/junior yrs?

I have a C- in math. I have my final in 2 days. I need a C in the test or better otherwise Im ending up with a D.

:(

They don't require a midyear transcript. At the end of the year, you send a final transcript that has all your grades on. They check that against what you reported on your application, and if there are no discrepancies, and if your senior grades are up to par, then your admission won't be rescinded.

I'm not exactly sure how the cap is allocated. (I suppose it's possible that they go by UW GPA, but I've always heard UC GPA.)

AP Englsih Lit-A
AP Calc - D
AP Chem (hopefully ) B
AP Econ - B
SPansih III- A
CHinese II- A
Cathoolic Lit- A

my grade sucks ass like this right now >.<

thank god, somebody agrees with me here. ^^ i swear i thought UC don't require transcript, if this is really true , i am at least happy cuz i have at least small chance to get in UC's

KD: so UC GPA meaning that even if i've weighed 4 classes during soph/junior yrs, i can still weigh 4 more classes in senior yr? (provided they're AP/honors)

thanks a lot
