UC TO UC Transfer *** NEED ADVICE!

Hi PEOPLE!!!
I am currently a 2nd year, chemistry majored, UC Merced student and I am planning on transferring to another UC next fall (NOT CONSIDERING UCR, but other UCs are fine).

My GPA is comparatively low. it's currently 3.15 and if I do well this fall semester, my GPA is expected to raise to 3.3 ish. I was wondering if they consider fall semester and spring semester grades?

by the end of fall 2013 semester, i will be having 64 semester units (i took sumer school)

I do have some E.C., I volunteered at a community club, tutoring kids. and I am currently volunteering at a local hospital program (medical related) which can be consider as major related E.C. i assume?

I have heard from many people that UC to UC transfer is much harder than CC to UC transfer, and with my low GPA, I wonder if it is still possible to transfer out of UC Merced to another UC.
If it is possible, could you guys please tell me which UCs are going to accept 3.3 ish or 3.15 GPA applicants? Please name them if possible. Thank you a lot!

UC to UC transfer is more difficult because they are not given priority. Community College students are in an institution where they cannot receive a bachelors and therefore given priority. The only one that do offer same priority is UCLA. So UC to UC transfer is mainly based on the amount of space offered in the major. For your GPA, I recommend a non selective major, just make sure you finish most if not all your prereqs.
