Hi. i currently go to uc davis but I’ve visited a couple friends this year at various other uc campuses and am starting to highly consider transferring to another campus/school. I particularly liked ucsb. so I was just wondering if anyone has gone through this process or knows any information about a possible UC to UC transfer???
Thanks!!
Yup. I was accepted as a UC intercampus transfer for Fall 2015. Just make sure you try to match classes at your current UC to the major requirements at the UC you want to transfer to. Keep your GPA as high as possible. Also, if you can, try to get your writing and math requirements done earlier. Also finishing GE requirements at your current UC will get you out of GE requirements at ur new UC. Good luck! It’s a fun and nerve-wracking process lol haha
@81mamba speaks true words! It’s doable, esp if you start the process as soon as possible to transfer as a junior. You don’t have to have the courses completed next fall when you apply. D Just done by spring.
Be careful NOT to exceed the unit limit for UC to UC transfer. If you are attending a bachelor-degree granting institution, the UCs have set up a unit limit to discourage senior transfers. Also, make sure you are a competitive candidate since priority will be given to CCC students. It’s definitely possible though so good luck with everything! (:
