UC Transfer Applicants - Come Join

I'm a little surprised I've yet to hear from UCR. I've heard of several transfer students getting their UCR decision already. I've got a high GPA and know I should get in (they're my safest saftey) but I'm still paranoid.

i know the feeling.. when i got into ucsc it made me a little more confident about my essay... still waiting for sb....!

allena... don't worry about it.. according to UCR, decisions are still being mailed out throughout the month.

From a UCR automated e-mail response:
"Transfers- Decisions will be posted on MyUCR and mailed out by April 1st. Please be advised that not all decisions will be made by that date. If additional documentation is needed from you in order for your admission counselor to make a decision on your application, you will be notified. *The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will have all Transfer application decisions made by April 30th."

Hope this helps :)

lilomui, you don't want to be hearing from Cal early because it won't be good news...my friend applied last years and he told me that they send out rejection letters before they send acceptance...my friend got his early, so he was rejected...meanwhile, his friend got the decision later and was accepted...hehehe....i don't know if this is true or not, but tat's wut i heard

BUMP!

Let's keep this thread active. mid-March is practically here, which is when Davis starts sending out its decisions. From what I understand, many UC applicants (including myself) have Davis as their safety school. I'm still hoping desperately for Berkeley, but... sigh, we shall see.

yup, checking from last years forum...hahaha, i was browing around at the old forum, and last year...davis mailed out their transfer admissions around March 15th.!

I just received my acceptance to UCI online today, so it looks like they made decisions for transfers. They chose my alternate major due to not enough prerequisites, so instead of econ i'm in international studies. Can I still go to business school with a international studies major? can I try to get a dual degree with econ next year?

biochemist12, thanks for awakening the thread....

cc_gwc, you got notification. Congrats !!!

So itz official guys, UCI transfer notifications have started....get ready....

Im guessing, enngineering students are gonna be the last one to get notified.

lilomui, could you provide a link to the old threads? i can't seem to find the archived threads on the site.

i'm sooo nervous about davis, because if they don't admit me, then Cal and UCLA probably won't either. ugh! the suspense is killing me!

same here...desperately waiting for davis

sure, ill post it up when i find it :P
so i take it u guys dont live around davis huh...to get that TAA with davis? the trasnfer agreement with davis.. :P

Not sure if anybody else has noticed, but the UCLA admissions site is now up. I read elsewhere that Freshmen decissions are out now, so now it's our turn I suspose.

I just logged in to the UCLA admissions site, and the decisions ARE NOT up yet. They said late April.

I swear I was so nervous when I logged in! And now i'm even more nervous.

Am I the only one who's not nervous? I just hate to subject my mind through a college admission rollacoster(sp) again

Blackdream - if I remember right, your stats are waaay better than mine (and many others'), so you don't have much to worry about. Anyhow, I think I'll take a leaf out of your book and stop worrying now. Que sera sera (cliche but true).

llook towards teh bottom

Yeah our decissions are not up yet, Freshmen are. I was just bringing it up that the website now exists.

Bump!

I bump and hump

So we just have only one transfer UCI notification? did anyone else hear from UCI?
