I see that the transfer app for the UC changed… the essay topics used to be the same every year but last years look different. I am looking to transfer into a UC as a junior and was wondering if the essay topics of last year will be the same as this coming year’s application… Here is what I’m talking about:

It’s not that the essays have changed to new prompts, everything about them has changed. Instead of two big essays, you’ll have several shorter essays about different topics, instead of two prompts with 2000 words divided amongst both of em. In previous years the prompts would just change form year to year.
This application cycle will be the first using this new set of prompts. As such, the link you provided is pretty self explanatory as it’s all current.
@briank82 you sure? It seems that when Iapplied as a freshman the topics remained the same from the years before… they asked “describe the world you come from”…

The transfer essays remained unchanged for years, and this application cycle is the first change in many years. It’s all updated in the website.
@2016Candles so I cant work on my college essays now? I wanted to get a head start but I guess I cant do that because I wont know the topics right?
