UC Transfer Problem .. with last semester's grade being bad

<p>Ok first off I have a little problem with my grade and I'm not sure whether to transfer this Fall or apply for Winter '10 with TAG. Well I kind of screwed up on my last semester of spring at a CC which included a D in Poli Sci and F for English with everything else compiled with an A and B with 1 C. So far I have 28 units and taking the 2 classes that I had D and F for this Fall with a cumulative GPA of 2.8. My question is should I apply for the this year's Fall Application with the grade that I have? Also will the grades be updated once I finish this Fall since I'm pretty sure I'll boost up the English with a C or higher and Poli Sci with a B? Also will it be better for me to try to go for Winter '10 and apply for TAG once i completed all my 60 units? sorry if it's long but i'm in a desperate situation and seeking for help since the deadline for fall is November 30th. Thanks</p>

<p>Well if you're retaking the classes this semester then I think you should still be fine for applying. I heard that most schools don't even start looking at the application until you do the fall update. If you get good grades in those two classes then the D and F should not be calculated into your GPA. But you have to make sure that you have 60 units by the end of spring to transfer, so you still have a lot of units to take.</p>
