how difficult do you think it would be for a usc student to transfer to ucla?

i know this is pretty hard to answer... but the reason i ask is that i need to plan my lower division classes as soon as possible, and different UCs require different courses

im planning on majoring in sociology at ucla.... i'm hoping that all my GEs will transfer, and i plan on taking about 12 semester units of sociology classes, and the calc and stats requirements....

i had a 33 on the act (which im assuming is still used???). of course, i dont know what my GPA is, yet....... but considering everything else i've mentioned, how hard do you think it will be? should i plan my courses for UCLA or should i aim for a less selective university?

When are you trying to transfer..if it is not next year but the year after, you should try transferring to a community college. Therefore, you would have a better chance!

ive heard that suggestion before... but i dont want to transfer to a ccc because im not hellbent on going to ucla or anything. i mean, i would really like to transfer because its financially a problem.... but i could still tough out the money and continue at usc..... and theres still the chance that i wouldnt get in as a transfer from a ccc, and then where would i be? so im just trying to set up my courses so that im in a good position to get into UCLA (or......... wherever?????) , but if i end up staying at USC, i'm still on a good path, too.

but yeah, any idea what my chances would be, or like, what type of gpa i'd have to have to have a good chance?
