Any hope for a wave tomorrow? I talked an L&S CS student named Alan who was on the waitlisted and later admitted through FPF. He said that the majority of FPF people were on from out of state. My theory is that maybe the first wave was simply split into two separate waves for in-state and OOS.
No
@ProfessorPlum168 No to @nkdeveloper ?
did anyone hear from CoE yet? if so are u in-state, oos or international?
Next Friday?
@MotoMoto9876 A couple people heard from engineering, either the next wave will be heavy in engineering or they just aren’t letting many of us engineers off the waitlist this year.
Did anybody get off CNR purely OOS or do you think there’s no chance. I’m just trying to get the logistics straight. I want to believe CNR and L&S are mostly second wave because CNR and L&S have v similar qualifications but idk. I saw few cCNR students get off (mostly from instate and like 1 or 2 from OOS)
@tennisninja You are not correct L&S has chem major as well
If they offer 500 students on the waitlist and only 300 accept, that frees up another 200 spots.
The above response is for @SeniorSzn
I’d do anything to get into Berkeley, please accept me
Same here!
Did anyone who got off the waitlist have their application say the opt-in was turned in on April 16th? I turned mine in around ~11:20 PST and it says April 16th so I’m wondering if it will still be considered or whatnot. Thanks
@TheFunBiscuit Yes, same situation here. I think it’s okay because back when I originally submitted my app on November 30, it said “submitted 12/01/18” and it may be due to their office hours.
I feel like we’re good too, but I think its important to double check, good luck with the waitlist! Anyone else have this?
Is next wave 15th?
I believe next wave will be the 17th
I know someone who just accepted their Berkeley admission after being waitlisted and I want to cry. I’m so scared of being rejected now.
