honestly I have no clue. Imo this is the second wave, but I’m not an admissions officer so I can’t tell you for sure.
@Ajchen did you ever get an official email for an update or is it still just purely an update on the portal?
@bambi253 It should say when he needs to accept on the portal.
After you SIR to the school & make a CalNet ID, the housing application becomes available; waitlisted students get priority housing just like other freshmen admits as long as it’s submitted on time.

any hopes for any more results today (friday)? The second round seemed awfully small from what I can see online, and I’ve only seen one L&S OOS kid get in off the waitlist so far.

@TechPlus unfortunately no update, but my faq went to back to the waitlist faq sometime since then
seems to me overall this year waitlist is very small
