<p>So UCB asks me to complete some extra forms on their website prior to fall-grades update on my App., and the website shows me 3 required forms: UC Transferable Courses Summary, Breaths Requirements, and Transfer Application Update.</p>
<p>My friend also applied to UCB and he told me that there are 4 required forms for him. The 3 forms above + something like Major requirement form.</p>
<p>Does anyone know why my friend's is different from mine?</p>
<p>Is it because we have different majors? (My major is Development Studies and there are requirements for that major. So supposedly, I should be filling out that Major requirement form too...right?)</p>
<p>And also, I've already updated my fall-grades on my App. but I didn't receive a confirmation email or anything. It just showed a confirmation page after I submitted the update. I printed out the page, but am still worried if it's been successfully done. So just wanted to make sure that is how it is.</p>
<p>When I did my online forms, I did not have to do one for my major. Maybe your friend has a very selective major which is why he/she has to fill out more forms. Even if you declared Development Studies as your major, you still go into Berkeley as “undeclared”. You have to declare the major while at Berkeley - this is how I was able to change from music to psychology.</p>
<p>The fourth form is the general UC application which gets transmitted to the Berkeley application (after you finish the update).</p>

Thanks for the reply. My friend’s major is Economics. And it is an impacted major, so I thought that might be the reason why my friend had to fill out more forms. But I wanted to know if there’s anyone who didn’t have to complete that major req. form like I didn’t.</p>

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I knew that the update wouldn’t be transmitted to UCB App. till 25th, but I was talking about other schools that I applied to. But there wasn’t enough explanation and it was a bit confusing since the title of this thread is UCB App. and I apologize for that. Thanks for the post though.</p>

<p>Kanada already addressed the Transfer Application Update. Actually on my myBerkeleyApplication, I have 4 total forms as well. One of them is “Major Prerequisites” where I just list the courses that satisfy my major prereqs.</p>
<p>By the way, I’m a Computer Science major which is probably impacted, but not capped at UC Berkeley.</p>

Oh…really?? That really makes me anxious about this…I would’ve never even known about the fourth form(the prereq. form)if i didn’t talk with my friend about UCB App. But since you have to log in to your myBerkeleyApplication website using your App. ID, it’s hard to think that the missing form happened by a mistake because supposedly, your ID is used to direct you to the right page that is meant for you. You know what I mean? But actually, I talked to another friend of mine, and she said that she filled out the fourth form as well…weirddddddddd</p>

<p>A: The specific forms that each transfer applicant is asked to submit will vary depending on the College or School at Berkeley to which they applied, their intended major, and whether or not they attended institutions other than a California Community College. Your Required Forms list will show everything we need you to submit. However, beginning in January, continue to check myBerkeleyApplication and your email regularly for information updates.</p>
