Anyone know how to view it, a link would be nice...

Create a Calnet account and you're in

you have to first register you SID and then go to bearfacts:

it's not as easy as on the other UC's sites. Just follow the instructions and you're laughin.

Anybody else register and not see any fin aid info?

if you are an independent student that is going through the verification process, they wait until they recieve the additional forms before they complete your f/a package so it will take longer

I don't understand why they have my budget for 22k? They have me listed as off campus housing? How do we get them to change it to on campus housing?

All transfers are automatically listed as off-campus. Wait until you get your housing offer and then file an appeal in order to get your budget changed.

The process is pretty simple - you just need to submit a form. Here's a link to all the financial aid forms.

2008-2009 Undergraduate Forms

Also note that if you get into one of the apartment dorms you will still be considered off campus.

You don't have to submit your SIR before you can see you financial aid, do you? I can log into Bearfacts but I don't have any financial aid info yet.

Last year I was able to see my financial aid before submitting my SIR. Considering that financial aid offer is a major factor in picking a school for many people, I doubt they would wait until after you submit your SIR. Maybe the packages are still being worked on?

Yea, I figured you didn't have to send in your SIR to see the info but I THOUGHT I saw someone in this thread say that. I just now realized the it say siD. =) I sent an email to the financial aid department since it's to late to call the today and I'll try calling tomorrow. We'll see what's up.

I did want to point out that on BearFacts it says "as of April 30th 12AM"

To the people who can see their awardsk, does it say that for you too?

Well, I got an email back and it said,

"Dear chickadee2586,

We have received your FAFSA information and we will begin to package transfer students in May.

I thank you in advance for your patience.

Sincerely,

Gabrielle Turner

FAO Counselor"

I guess they're still just getting everyone's together.

Yeah, I can see my fa info and it says "as of April 30th 12AM" too. Did you file your fafsa by the priority deadline? Or can you think of anything else that might be delaying it?

EDIT: cross thread

Well, I submitted my Fafsa in February but had to make a correction in mid March. I got an email saying the correction was approved and UC Davis and UC Santa Cruz had my financial aid packages together. I assume they're just in the process of getting everything together.

it shows my financial aid status is not received!! why? i file it by the deadline? anyone in the same situation?

ha, i found you over here too. if you haven't already done so, maybe you should try checking your fafsa account on FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid and make sure that everything got submitted alright.

..i submit everything... i also got financial aid from all other UCs....what is wrong?

I emailed them and they said they're still getting the financial aid packets for transfer students together. They said they'll be out in May. She didn't give me an exact date.
