I would of never imagined to get accepted into both schools. What would be a better decision in your opinion? I love the LA area and it's probably easier to land an internship L.A area, than at Berkeley.

They are both giving me at same amount of financial aid also.

Ha. I’m applying into those two programs in the fall and I’m not sure how I’d be able to choose between them if the financial aid was the same.

Haas has the “better” program, but you like the LA area more.

The only thing for me is that I have two very close friends who are attending UCLA, and it would be amazing to be able to be with them again. I don’t I really have a definite answer for you (oops!), but I wish you the best of luck choosing. I don’t think you can really go wrong with either.

First off, congratulations! I have read many of your posts on this forum and they are always helpful and encouraging. Personally, the Haas name is very impressive but I think the difference between LA and Cal is marginal enough that neither choice will hinder your success, especially for a dedicated individual much like yourself. Past the rankings and “prestige”, choose which environment you feel most comfortable to. And last but not least, have fun!

Thanks UC, I’m glad that I could help you in anyway in the forums. I realize Haas is a big opportunity to pass up, but again , I should really consider the smaller class sizes + the fact that at UCLA I still have the “Pre- Bizecon” rather than straight a guarantee into my major. Thanks for the P.S now I want to go to UCLA even more. haha :)
