I have some questions on the UCB Haas school prerequisites. Since I'm neither a CA CC or an CA college, I cant make use of the ASSIST to figure out which courses I should take. I'm trying to figure out myself by reading the description of each course and matching it with some offered in my school and pray God they will accept it. However, there is one my school doesnt offer which is BUS101, a business general course. So anyone know what I should do? I heard that failure to complete the prerequisites is the major reason for rejection, so should I give up since no way I can complete it at my school.

I'm really in a mess now and the date to register for summer classes is coming. I would really appreciate if anyone can help.

Its pretty much impossible to transfer to haas from out of state. The acceptance rate for a non-CCC transfer ( which includes in state colleges like the UCs) is less than half of a percent.

You should consider trying to transfer into other programs because for haas you will have the lowest possible priority, none of your classes are articulated (your prereqs in particular), and you will have to pay huge fees even if you managed to get in somehow.

I would not dismiss yourself so easily… The admissions officers at Cal have a very holistic app approach. If you have a particularly intriguing story/EC profile, and excellent essays, the odds are not nearly so dismal. A perfect GPA for OOS (Out Of State) applicants never hurts ;-P

Seriously though, one of the most interesting friends I have made this year is a transfer student from Morocco. Awesome guy, great story. Hope this gives you a bit of hope.
