Do they evaluate your GPA based on your Fall's final grade report, or the GPA you applied with? What GPA is posted on their website, Fall or applied GPA?

I think it is just the grades of your freshman year/first year assuming a normal full load of classwork. So i guess it would be the gpa you apply with.

CCstudent...if you are transferring, your fall grades are very important...I can't stress that enough. They don't even start reviewing transfer applicants until after freshman applicants and they have you enter your fall grades at a later date so you must keep a decent overall GPA & fall grades play a big part in that. good luck.

So for junior transfer concentrate on your first three semesters in college.

it depends on when you are transfering & how many units you have, some people cannot get all the needed units in 4 semesters, I had to go for longer than two years becuase of family issues. If you are planning on transferring fall 2008 and you have a good overall GPA so far, make sure that this fall grades are good enough to at least maintain your GPA or even better, thats why I took easy classes during the fall. Once your excepted, most schools require that you maintain a certain GPA during the Spring before transfer as well, I know allot of people that took p/np classes for their difficult GE subjects during the Spring so that they could maintain their GPA through the spring . For Cal it was a 3.0 even after exceptance.
good luck

Thanks a bunch. I've read that in their fast facts, but I was a bit reluctant to believe that. I should have a much higher GPA post '07 Fall, without a doubt.

I'll have 60+ units by the end of Fall and all my major prep and IGETC finished, in fact, I only need 1 more class to make 60 units plus IGETC certified. Spring semester is optional for me, but I'm most likely going to come back to raise my GPA. Granted, I did take summer school during '06 and, now, '07.
