Hi, I am just wondering about having a withdraw before transfer to UCB/UCLA.

I applied last fall, and i am taking 2 requirements classes(eng/math) and 2 strongly recommendation classes.

I might need to drop one strongly recommendation class. I know that i must report this situation to UCB and UCLA.

My question is that having a withdraw on strongly recommendation class will be effect on my admission process?

Thanks

If its not a required course then I don’t see why it would matter. In any case I wouldn’t say anything until after you get accepted. I would also try to pass the class since the grade isn’t taken into consideration as long as you pass.

Actually, i am an EECS major and I am taking Differential eq, English and other two computer science classes(strongly recommendation).I’m thinking about dropping one computer science class.
Also I heard that UCB required to get overal 3.0 GPA for the last spring semester, So is it okay to get one C and one A to make a overal 3.0 GPA???
