UCD - Prereq. asked for a "B" or higher and I got a "B-"

I’m an incoming Fall 2018 transfer student Bio major.

During the spring term, I was supposed to take bio, chem, and calc. However, I wasnt able to take chem, because the classes were full.

I emailed UCD about this asap and they replied about 2/3 into the quarter with a new set or prereqs where I must get a “B” or higher in my bio and math class( My last quarter at CC before transferring). However, I got a “B-” instead. Will this affect my admission? If so, what can I do? Most deadlines to accept admission and housing is quite late already. Any tips or help is greatly appreciated.

Contact them again ASAP. These admission requirements are reviewed holistically and on an individual basis so no one here can tell you.

I agree with the above poster that each student will be evaluated on a case by case basis so there is no one answer that fits all situations. Best of luck and come back to update your results.
