I'm applying in November to a bunch of the UCs, but I'm aiming for Davis. I just posted in another thread about how I'm probably not going to qualify for TAG because of a C I got a million years ago.

I'm applying as an Environmental Toxicology major, which I can't find a lot of info on as far as average GPA of transfers and such. It's a non-selective major in the Agricultural school though.

I will have 104 transferable units after this Fall and will have completed 2 semesters of general chemistry, 2 semesters of organic chemistry, math up to calc II, 2 semesters of bio, and one semester of physics. I'll still have to take one bio class, one physics class, and calc III in Spring, but I will have all prereqs listed on Assist done by the time I transfer. At best, I think my transferable GPA will be 3.23 after I send in my Fall grades. My overall GPA is a little higher, 3.3something. If they don't line out my two A's from the "illegal repeats" or whatever, I might have a 3.27.

To kind of generalize, is it likely that I will get into Davis for a non-selective major with a 3.2-ish GPA? Assuming I will have completed 100% of the prereqs by the end of Spring 2013 and will have been on the Dean's list for Spring 2012 and Fall 2012. I will also be IGETC certified. Also, I'm not sure if it affects the decision process at all... but I'm almost 25, I took some EMT vocational courses which included clinical internship, and I worked as a veterinary assistant for a year. My science (bio+chem) prereq GPA is not that great. It will be 2.72 when I apply (6 classes). I got a B in calc I and am taking calc II and physics 1 right now, so I'm going to try for A's in these classes.

Any advice?
