@ks3210 My son will likely apply to Burnett but he is waiting for scholarship announcements. I think it was @CaucAsianDad who mentioned that Provost Scholarship recipients may have an advantage for Burnett, so fingers crossed for that.
That is the approach my D is taking. It is a very busy time for her at school now so she is waiting on scholarship results to gauge her likelihood for Burnett. Of course you can get into to Burnett without being a scholarship recipient and if you have the stats for the Provost Scholarship you should be in good shape for Burnett, but there is a place on the UCF website that says Provost Scholars have an advantage. Since Burnett is not first come first serve like the scholarships are, she figures she might as well wait, hoping for a Provost Scholarship. YMMV
Any chance of me getting in ? My gpa is low about a 2.9 weighted but that’s because I took algebra 1 and 2 geometry and english 1 and 2 all in my freshman year and got mostly c’s and B’s I applied for summer term and my extracurricular activities and volunteer work are very good I also had a very good essay im praying for the best
