Ucf - d???!!!!!!

Okay,

Currently I am a junior. I do Okay, mostly A & Bs, some Cs. In the second semester of geometry I got a new teacher, and she was really tough. I ended with a D in her class.
I project that by the end of this year if I do amazing my recalculated GPA will be a 3.7
I'm going to retake the class online and hopefully get a B.

Will this D, and the other poor grades (C) keep UCF from even considering me?
This year I hope to vastly improve both GPA and take the ACT (hoping for 27)

Assuming I do all of the above, what would you say my chances are?

Thanks :)

I’m beginning classes at UCF this fall! My GPA was 3.1 unweighted and about 4.9 weighted when I was accepted. I was not in NHS or other academic associations. However I did have lots of community service involvement. My ACT was 24 and SAT for math & reading was 1000 combined. I did take many AP & honors classes and also they only see the final grades so they see the semester grades instead of 9 week grades. I think you’ll be fine & get accepted. Good luck!

I was accepted with 3.8 GPA (4.0 weighted), 28 on the ACT, and pretty much nothing else. They even gave me a scholarship.
