UCF Knights Update for Admitted Students

My D, already accepted to Summer 2009, got this email. Just an FYI for those also accepted:

For those of you who have been recently offered admission, Congratulations! For those of you who were admitted previously, we look forward to your continued interest!
This monthly e-mail is intended to keep you current on opportunities available and information relevant to your transition from high school to UCF!

Updates from UCF:

If you have not yet confirmed your enrollment for next year, you can download the Enrollment Deposit Form at http://www.admissions.ucf.edu/Enrollment_Deposit_Form.pdf.

Fall 2008: UCF was tied for 34th out of the top 368 college/universities who enrolled National Merit Scholars.

The Summer 2009 and Fall 2009 online housing applications are now available. For more information go to UCF Housing and Residence Life.

Applications are now available for the LEAD Scholars Program. For more information go to What is the LEAD Scholars Program? and click on Prospective Students.

Beginning this summer and fall, UCF will launch a new initiative to improve student success and retention. This initiative will create smaller classes for students who take College Algebra and English Composition and will place more emphasis on faculty-student interaction.

Please remember that your myUCF online account will keep you informed on your "next steps". Please be certain to check your myUCF page often for updates. If you are a Florida resident for tuition purposes and your residency status is marked PENDING, please complete the Residency Classification Form at https://www.admissions.mca.ucf.edu/secure/flresidency.asp. Students classified as PENDING or NON-FL will be charged out-of-state tuition and fees.

From all of us here at UCF, we wish you the best as you complete your last semester of high school!

I checked online for my status last week and it said I was accepted. I recieved that exact email as well. I have also been sent all sorts of junk about how good ucf is since then. Am i supposed to get an acceptance letter/packet or something? I've kinda been looking forward to it.

If your status online says "accepted" you should expect a follow-up confirmation letter in the mail about 2 or 3 weeks later. D was accepted in December and it took 2 weeks for the "official" letter.

Congrats!
