UCF Scholars Award & UCF Grant

I keep coming across these two awards while browsing through the Financial Aid website and I was wondering if anyone here has previously received them?

If so, do they notify you of this award with all of your other financial information? How much do they actually award you?

What about the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant?

How much does the First Generation Matching Grant Program offer?

Yes, I got the UCF grant, but they took it off my award package last week. They said my verification is pending upon the completion of my AA. So we will see. You don’t apply for them, they are given based on your academic criteria!

Can you please answer my question:
ave been accepted to UF and UCF. I choose UCF because I can double major in Public Administration and Political Science. UF does not have public Administration. So I am waiting for the May 15 orientation at UCF before I can register for class, but it looks like all the classes are full. What Can I do about that?

Classes will open up at orientation.

I am a freshman at Boston University and I am looking to transfer to UCF at the semester. I am an out of state transfer student, and I will not have any grades for my first semester of college until the end of December. First, do you think I will get accepted, and secondly do you think I would receive financial aid?

At Boston University I have a large amount of financial aid in grants and federal loans. My EFC is less than $8,000 - my mom is a single mom who is a nurse. My act score is 29 and my high school GPA is around a 3.5 unweighted and almost all of my core classes were honors or AP. I know that I should be able to get in, but I do not know how picky they are with out of state students and transfer students. I didn’t apply to any public schools the first time around.
