Received this admissions offer from UCF.. I applied for the 2011 Fall term,

"You will be offered admission and can choose to enroll in the summer term rather than the fall, and then continue enrollment in the fall term...Choose Accept to accept this summer option (you will have until May 1 to submit your Enrollment Deposit).
Choose Decline to decline this summer option (you will be denied admission to UCF).
Choose Extend to extend your opportunity to choose this option until May 1. "

I had no plans to attend school in the summer, can I do anything to have them reconsider me for fall admission? It does say that this is your current status and this status is subject to change. Should I wait to accept. I have 30 days.

If you want to go like it’s your first choice then accept. I guess you could shoot them an email and I’m pretty sure you can appeal your admisson decision. & yea what were your stats?

dude.
if you want to go to ucf, accept summer now. there are a whole lot of us who got deferred that are waiting for an email like that. i’d take summer, spring, mid-term, tomorrow if they’d accept me.

right now i’m looking at apartments in case i have to go to valencia. it’s not a bad school, just not what i want but i’ll do whatever it takes to graduate from ucf in computer science.

see, i’m gonna need ucf for computer science. i can get in lesser schools with my lesser grades and my lesser test scores. but i’m the best there is in programming, and i want the best school in fl to accept me.

and yeah uf may be better but there’s no chance of me getting accepted there. my scores are borderline, they go on stats and i have skills not stats.

anybody know of apartments that accept both ucf and valencia students with a meal plan? can’t cook, friends want to live with me so i can help them with programming and if i do ever get an email like you just got, i’d be set.

right now, i’m doing like mayday and half the others on this forum. hoping they look past the stats. count your blessings dude. you’re where half of us want to be.

Summers not bad it’ll help ease the transition into the fall…I got into fall and I’m considering summer because think about it a whole summer in Orlando? With only like one or two classes to go through? That sounds like an easy way to get a jump on your degree and have some fun in a big city. I guess you can e-mail them, but this is UCF’s most competitive year ever so chances are you got summer because fall is simply too competitive.

This happened to me too! I would take courses in the summer but it’s a little inconvenient because their scholarships don’t cover summer courses. I tried talking to counselors but they were no help at all. UCF admissions has TERRIBLE services. I sent a letter to the president of admissions and stated my case. I’m currently waiting for a reply. You could maybe do that.
