Still waiting to hear from both of them, but their my top two schools. I need opinions on both, UCF's big population scares me, but I heard Florida State's small city is boring? Opinions Opinions Opinions please!

Opt to UCF only for Engineering, FSU for everything else.

Depends on what’s important to you. IMO, Tallahassee has more of a “college town” feel to it that I think is valuable. FSU has history to it, being around 150 years old whereas UCF is only 50 years old or so. Better name and brand recognition on a state and national level at FSU. FSU is likely a stronger degree than UCF, and I think the quality of students at FSU is higher than UCF as a whole.

If I had a choice between UCF and FSU I would choose FSU for sure.

FSU and Tallahassee boring? Are you kidding?

I agree with parent2noles. Tallahassee is a pretty vibrant little city. Very quaint and interesting. Regardless, you make your own fun where you go. And I can guarantee you FSU is not in Timbuktu.
Orlando is great for the clubbing scene but academically it is not as robust as FSU by any standard. I know that UCF has some programs such as hospitality that are really good [friend turned down FSU for UCF’s hospitality program]. Great dorms at UCF and Greek life is nice. Though, FSU has a great Greek life too.
Kinda looking on where you’re going after college. If it’s grad school and your specific program isn’t particularly strong at UCF, I’d go with FSU.
