I plan on going into business. I still haven't decided my major yet but I'm most likely gonna double major or double degree with finance, accounting, or economics. My gpa and sat are good enough to be accepted into these schools. Which of these has the best programs based on what I want to do.

Florida native here.

UF’s finance major is popular, and given the school’s preprofessional emphasis, that makes sense. UF is also listed in the 2011 Edition of Fiske as one of the strongest public universities in Business whereas the rest of the Florida schools you listed are not.

FSU has reputable accounting and business programs.

I haven’t heard much about UCF or USF’s business/accouting/finance programs at all. If I had to pick between the two, UCF would probably win out based on the strength of other programs there.

Of the four just based on program strength I would go with UF.

Also, as another suggestion to you, Rollins College in Winter Park, FL (just outside of Orlando) has a really strong business program for undergrads and grads. You should look into it unless you’re set on the public universities.

Thank you.
