I am going into my senior year and I am interested in majoring in business, I’m not sure exactly what major but real estateor accounting are the only two I’m not really interested in.
I live in Florida the two colleges I’ve narrowed my choices down to is UCF and FSU. My friends say UCF and FSU are about the same FSU and UCF are about the same in terms of tuition, but I really haven’t gotten a clear answer with exactly which Is better. I would prefer to go to UCF, because it’s much closer to some of my family. Is it worth going further away To go to FSU or no? And other than UM and UF is there any other businessschool in Florida that matches up to ucf and fsu?
Thanks
In general, FSU has the better (and higher) ranked undergraduate program. However, some majors may be better at UCF, such as sports management. You’ll have to do some research.
Good Luck!
I think FIU is supposed to have a decent business school. If money isn’t an object, you might also look at Rollins or Stetson.

In terms of respect, UCF is pretty close to FSU, in Central Florida. The further away from Central Florida you get, though, the more of a difference there is between the two, especially out of state. FSU, UF and Miami are very famous across the country (more for football than anything else, but they are at least known).
UCF isn’t unknown, but I grew up in Central Florida and know many people that graduated from UCF, moved to other parts of the country and found that people are generally unfamiliar with UCF, or they regard it as an unimportant regional school, even though it has a well regarded Engineering college.
That being said, going to UCF wont hold you back. You should visit both campuses to see how you like them.
