So, I got accepted into UCF about two weeks ago (about a month from the time I applied). I am getting a little worried now because I haven’t been offered any scholarships from the actual school. I’ve heard around that they will give out scholarships during a certain time period, but I really don’t know if that is legit. Well anywho, I was wondering if anyone that was accepted, received a scholarship or have any information about UCF scholarships.

I have one friend that got a $30,000 scholarship and another friend that got a $14,000 scholarship. Both applied in August/September and received scholarships a few months ago. The later you apply the less likely a scholarship because UCF is rolling admissions. What is your GPA and SAT?

Gpa 4.2 Sat 1820

and I got a question based on your friends. Are they attending the Spring term because I’m doing the Fall and one of my friends just told me that you have to submit your FASFA first in order for them to be received. But I can’t right now since my parent haven’t done their 2013 FASFA.

You don’t need the FASFA to be “offered” a merit scholarship (but you do for FA), and it does go in waves. However, it’s first come first served, so the farther they get into rolling admissions, the less money is available for scholarships.
