[I got nothing](http://egoledastray.■■■■■■■■■■/)
this kid! What the heck!? Could it be real?! But how?!

I call no way. The text is blurry, could be any letter. Plus, it would have meant that he got his email a few days ago, because I’m sure that they update the status online before the letters arrive. He would have posted on Tumblr then.
Oh, and he mentions that he applied Early DECISION. So, he doesn’t really appear to know what he’s talking about…
I could be wrong, but.
I highly doubt it’s legitimate.

Well he does keep saying “applying early decision helps.” Its not early decision, its ea…soo…

Yeah. Regardless of my suspicious attitude- I did login to my UChicago account.
(Thankfully, nothing. I’m still preparing for my rejection! [Making sad playlists and choosing recipes for chocolatey treats!])

It’s just one of those big envelopes that they send to literally anybody on the mailing list with financial aid info or that Life @ Uchicago book (I forgot its name).

Sassy gay friend! I did a character based on him for drama club recently. I was a gay fairy godfather to Cinderella and I set her up with prince charming then scolded charming when he started to leave with one of cinderella’s stepsisters! I had a scarf and everything. It was so much fun!

HAHA i just saw that post on tumblr & immediately checked cc to see if anyone had posted about it. you guys rule.

@NoNameNeil, that’s amazing.

GUYS.
UChicago mails scarves to accepted students.

IF ANY OF YOU GET IN, DO THE SCARF FLIP.
If I get in, I definitely will.

omg, I will DIE if I get a UChicago scarf. I am wearing that puppy every day. I already have plans of decking out my entire wardrobe in Chicago wear if I get in. Maroon will become my favorite color verrrry quickly.

Guys, the tumblr thing is clearly fake…you can see that the letter is folded over and he’s holding it against something else that has the UChicago masthead thing on the top. The logo is also disproportionate to the rest of it…someone’s clearly trolling.

I seriously want a scarf. And now I seriously want to go to UChicago. Imagine all the Sassy Gay Friend references!! This might have been asked already, but does anyone know when we find out? the 16th?

I’m going to be that guy wearing a scarf indoors at a Starbucks chilling with mocha and macbook in hand.

I’m so apprehensive… I can’t deal

SCARVES. HOW I LOVE SCARVES.

Aw, now I’ll be even more upset if I don’t get in.

Ah wow! This is the first I’ve heard of UChicago swag. Definitely going to have to agree with littlepenguin! I’ll be missing out on a marvelous scarf now too if I don’t get accepted. Guh!

What bothers me most is that people who don’t really want to go to UChicago are applying EA just to see if they can get in. It is annoying. Stop it. D:

Hopefully that means selectivity is not as high as the increase in apps suggests, for the rest of us who do want to go to UChicago and feel like it’s a great fit.

I got a view book and poster from UChicago in the mail today. Apparently they want to make me really want to go to their school before I get rejected!

According to whoever runs the uchicago admissions tumblr, this Friday is the last day before winter break. At least it is for whoever runs that account (I have no clue about if that’s the last day for students). Could that mean they may come out this friday?

That would be cool, however I doubt it because I’ve seen somewhere on their website that says 15th, and then other places on the website that just says “mid december” and then places on cc that say their official position is before or on the 23rd
