Or he/she might be a Questbridge scholar, they usually get their decision in the first 2 weeks of December, that is, earlier than the normal decision date…
Did all international students get their financial aid notification email to ensure their financial aid status? Or just part of them did? I received one last year and still get WL and rejected, but my sister this year didn’t even receive one. I asked a lot of friends applying this year and are already UChicago students, some of them received and some never.
I used to be pretty sure it’s not hint or something else, because she didn’t even receive a email saying thank you for applying and did received a letter saying your file is complete… Seems like UChicago is very careless with the email… Does anyone have the same issue with it?
Would UChicago have contacted me if they didn’t have my transcript? I’m starting to believe they never got it.
@Kh521k Once your counselor submit on CA, it’s fine. Did they send you a email said your file is complete? If so, you’re fine! They will ask for official mailed transcript after you’re admitted even they didn’t catch it. It’s their fault not yours and they will not hurt your chance for this .

My school uses Naviance and the transcript status for UChicago is “incomplete.” But, I received an email from UChicago saying they had received everything. I sent my regional admissions officer an email to confirm if my transcript was part of my application but she hasn’t replied.
@Kh521k Once they said they have everything, they do. The incomplete status is shown on Naviance or your portal (I havn’t use Naviance)? If it’s on your portal and they said they have everything, it’s fine because it’s just technical error. They’re too lazy to update things.

@bodiremi never put yourself down, and there’s a reason they said suggestion, you technically didn’t do anything wrong, so don’t worry about it too much 
@ashtrohno Did they not send you the login for your Uchicago Account? They typically do that when you file the common app.

@jonzags Whenever I filled out my FASFA, it gave me an estimate on how much money I could get in general. Look at your FASFA application
