last year’s RD decisions were released at 6ET, but as someone else noted, this year’s EA was released at 5ET
Can someone confirm the time?
I was just looking at my deferred letter to reminisce about when I could still have hope and the heading had this: December 18, 2017
2018-03-16T17:00:00
I think it means that admission decisions are coming out at 5 p.m. EST because I’m on the Pacific Time schedule and so the 17:00 likely equates to 5 p.m. EST when they plan to release new decisions.

I haven’t even talked to any AO. To be perfectly honest with everyone I really hope I don’t get in because I’m about 1000% sure that someone else deserves my spot more than I do
@ak9800 that’s interesting about the date/time stamp on the December 18, 2017 letter. We saw that this morning but didn’t know what to make of the “17:00” time stamp.
Just out of curiosity does this link: https://collegeadmissions.uchicago.edu/slate work for anyone who is still waiting on RD decisions? It’s the admitted students website that is still not accessible to me when I log into my account so maybe I’ve been rejected lol
@yoharamona, Not sure how scientific this method is, but when we tried to login first to the status page and then load the link for admitted students page, it loads great with the magnifying glass and all… Does that mean what you say it means?

LOL - it’s the Admitted Student page for Class of 2022. Just logged in using D’s admission login from last year. See that FB invite? That’s only for the kids admitted. If anyone is in there, you might have found a back door (I say “might” because it’s possible a glitch lets everyone in right now).
