Actually surprised to be waitlisted considering my stats aren’t all that.
Guys I figured something out. Like an hour before decisions come out for whatever the next school is you’re hearing from, force yourself to get in the shower. It’s relaxing and decreases wait time. For maximum effect, go through the longest routine possible. And you don’t even have electronic/internet access!!

To all the people asking about stats, they are meaningless at this level (ie. 35 and 33 are not a big difference). I know @MaybeHarvard2022 personally and have read his CommonApp essay (the best I have ever read). I can tell you he also has national level ECs. That combination was probably more than enough to get him in.

DD waitlisted - Double Bummed today (WL for JHU)
rejected after deferral. had an absolutely terrible interview so really not surprised.
Waitlisted. A fellow student was accepted ED, so we are thinking he was the sole acceptance at our small-ish high school. We turned down the waitlist so they could offer the spot to someone else.
But congrats to everyone who got accepted!
