<p>Hi everyone! I just stumbled across this thread and you guys all seem absolutely amazing, and I really hope all of you get some good news in a week or two! :)</p>
<p>Anyway, I put down public policy studies, linguistics and bio as my top three choices for majors, and I wrote my essay on the mantis shrimp topic - it was written in the second-person and about cultural flux & the limitations of language, based very loosely on my humanitarian work in Africa. It was really, really fun to write! And then for the optional essay I wrote about Teju Cole, a composition by Nico Muhly and the artwork of Dieter Roth :D</p>

<p>Seems like you can’t really request a house, unless you mean something more along the lines of asking nicely. You can request a dorm, and for the smaller dorms that’s like requesting a house, but for the larger ones you can’t.</p>
